Data on the deployed of hydrogen vehicles and hydrogen filling stations in different countries were collected and evaluated in the project. Key statistics on the kilometres driven, the utilisation rate of refuelling stations and the amount of hydrogen refuelled are presented in this report.

By March 2021 there were:

• 330 fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) made by Daimler, Honda, Hyundai and Toyota;
• 237 fuel cell range-extended electric vehicles (FC REEVs) from Symbio and
• 39 hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) supplied by Air Liquide, ITM Power, Linde (including its subsidiaries AGA and BOC), McPhy and NEL Hydrogen Fueling deployed.

In total, data from 373 FCEVs, 237 REEVs and 39 hydrogen refuelling stations were included in the monitoring and evaluation. The graphs below show the distribution of refuelling stations and vehicle types.

By the end of May 2021, a total of 17.2 million kilometres had been travelled (FCEV & REEV) within the project. In 84.866 refuels, 193.000 kg of hydrogen were refuelled. Urban deployments of high usage vehicles such as taxis dominate H2ME vehicle usage, and HRS deployed in locations where taxis operate continue to provide the bulk of HRS usage.
