HysetCo inaugurates the largest hydrogen station in Europe

16/10/2023

Paris, France, June 14, 2023 – HysetCo, the European leader in light hydrogen mobility, has crossed a key milestone in its industrial development with the inauguration of its fourth hydrogen distribution station at the Porte de Saint Cloud in Paris. This new station, the largest in Europe today for light vehicles, is capable of producing and delivering up to 1 tonne of low-carbon hydrogen per day.

A key step in HysetCo’s industrial development

This opening is a major step for HysetCo, which is extending its network comprising three other operational stations at Orly, Roissy and Porte de la Chapelle. It also represents a move to the industrial stage of the project, since this new station is capable of delivering four times more hydrogen than each of its existing stations with capacity of 1 tonne per day.

This significant increase will support the rapid growth of hydrogen mobility usages. In the Paris region alone, HysetCo already distributes more than 16 tonnes of hydrogen per month, representing around 6,000 hydrogen fills and more than 1.3 million kilometres travelled each month by its clients. For the first time, a hydrogen station is equipped with an electrolyser that enables to produce and distribute low-carbon hydrogen locally.

A leading hydrogen mobility start-up in France

With this new station, HysetCo is continuing its mission to accelerate the transition to a zero-emission mobility solution for intensive usages, such as passenger transport and professionals. This ambition is aligned with the environmental goals set by Europe, France, the City of Paris and the Paris region to lower air pollution rapidly, as well as with the climate ambition of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
