Various use-cases for hydrogen refuelling stations

07/10/2020

Hydrogen is a powerful energy carrier. It has three times more energy per kilogram than petroleum. Its power can therefore be used to move not only passenger cars from our project but also heavy commercial vehicles – with long-range and short refuelling time. In Germany, a recent call within the framework of the Federal Government’s National Innovation Program for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP II) has caused a lot of movement: up to 90 % of the additional costs for a hydrogen drive in garbage collection vehicles and sweepers are covered by the Federal Government. With the result: the demand on our refuelling stations in the region increases strongly.
