Hydrogen for Clean Transport will showcase the advances made by hydrogen technology in the transport sector and discuss the remaining challenges working towards widespread commercialisation.
Hydrogen Mobility Europe, the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) and Hydrogen Europe are organising on 24 – 25 October 2019, in Hamburg, a series of events to discuss the opportunities around hydrogen in the transition to a sustainable energy future. Transport emissions are one of the largest sources of air pollution, but with hydrogen technology they could soon see a reduction.
The programme will start on 24 October at 12:00 h with the arrival of a fleet of fuel cell electric vehicles, following their road-trip journey through Europe.
On 25 October, sector experts will meet for the Hydrogen for Clean Transport conference to share emerging conclusions from the H2ME projects, demonstrating the benefits of hydrogen technology both for transport and for improving the air quality and green agendas throughout Europe.
