The “Hydrogen fuel cell Germany” initiative is an alliance of thirteen partners from the political, industrial and scientific spheres. Together with celebrity ambassador Hannes Jaenicke, actor, author and environmental activist, the initiative campaigns for the economic success of the energy changeover. The initiative is convinced that the comprehensive introduction of environmentally-friendly hydrogen and fuel cell technologies can make a significant contribution to achieving this – from hydrogen-operated cars, the building of hydrogen refuelling stations, to the establishing of fuel cell systems for electricity and heat supply for buildings. Hydrogen is largely emission-free and can efficiently link all three energy sectors at the same time.
