On April 18th the Danish industry association Brintbranchen / Hydrogen Denmark hosted their annual conference in the Danish city of Aalborg. This year the theme was the future of green transport and e-fuels. Around 90 people gathered in the raw industrial setting at SerEnergy, local based company and developer of methanol fuel cells.
At the conference several interesting presentations were given on both production, storage and usage of green fuels. Tejs Laustsen Jensen, CEO Hydrogen Demark, opened the conference by presenting the state of play of the Danish hydrogen and fuel cell industry and HFC research environment.
“In Denmark we are proud to have the world’s first nationwide network of HRS, but we still need to work hard and increase the number of FCEVs. Luckily, EU-funded projects like H2ME can help push forward, as well as Danish based initiatives such as the recent national grant for FCEVs on 10 mio. DKK”, says Tejs Laustsen Jensen.
