20 teams of enthusiastic hydrogen fans were traveling through Europe in their fuel cell vehicles. They wanted to show that hydrogen-powered cars allow environmentally conscious and climate-friendly traversing – from Holland to Switzerland and from Scandinavia to Belgium.
The first international “Hydrogen Rallye” took place in autumn 2017. Six teams covered a total of 11,000 kilometers and had 54 tank stops at hydrogen stations. The initiators, the journalist Arjan de Putter and the project manager at Infram, Bastiaan du Pré, originally wanted to challenge only their friends. This year – 2018 – the rallye will also be supported by H2 Mobility Germany, a partner within the H2ME project.
